Two Newton police officers are recovering after being assaulted after they responded to a 911 call Saturday evening, the town’s police division introduced.
Officers responding to a home violence call arrived on the Watertown Road house constructing at roughly 10 p.m. Police say the “assaultive, uncontrolled” suspect bumped into an house after which started to battle the officers.
