Phoenix police officers shot and killed a man who they allege was armed, drinking and driving in north Phoenix Saturday afternoon.

Officers have been referred to as to the realm of seventh Avenue and Bell Highway, after a caller described a truck driving erratically and swerving within the roadway. The caller additionally stated that the motive force was drinking what they believed to be alcohol and practically hit a pedestrian.

Whereas the caller spoke with police, they adopted the car and watched it pull into an condominium complicated and again right into a parking spot. Two officers responded to the complicated and situated the car, police stated.

The second officer noticed the struggle over the gun and fired his gun on the man. Phoenix Hearth Division responded to the scene and took the man to an area hospital, the place he died from his accidents.
