A 67-year-old Fort Myers man died in an out-of-county three-car crash that resulted in the arrest of one of many different drivers.

The crash occurred about 8:10 p.m. Friday alongside Interstate 75, close to Tuckers Grade, in Punta Gorda, in response to a Florida Freeway Patrol incident report.

One of many drivers was arrested, charged with DUI Manslaughter and booked into the Charlotte County Jail.

That driver was touring south on Interstate 75, on the within lane behind the opposite two concerned vehicles, south of Tuckers Grade.

Because the driver approached the opposite two autos, he veered from the within lane onto the skin lane.

The entrance left of the driver’s automotive rear-ended the primary of the 2 SUVs, later colliding with the proper facet of the second SUV.

The primary of the 2 SUVs rotated, entered the grass shoulder and overturned. The latter rotated and got here to relaxation between the skin lane and out of doors paved shoulder.
