ROYAL PALM BEACH — A Palm Seashore County sheriff’s deputy shot a woman within the leg early Sunday throughout a traffic stop in Royal Palm Seashore after deputies say she tried to flee in a stolen pickup truck.
The sheriff’s workplace stated deputies had stopped the stolen U-Haul pickup on the 200 block of Parkwood Drive about 4 a.m. As they had been detaining a person driving the truck, the feminine passenger “slid into the driving force’s seat and fled the scene,” based on a sheriff’s workplace information launch.
The woman, later recognized as Ginger Taylor, 31, was discovered with the truck about an hour later on the close by Royal Inn Resort on Royal Palm Seashore Boulevard. There, deputies say Taylor struck a deputy with the automobile as she tried to flee as soon as extra.
